WEIBPAR - Weibull Distribution Parameter Estimation
WeibPar estimates Weibull distribution parameters for time independent (fast fracture) specimen data and time dependent (dynamic fatigue) data. A graphical view of the specimen data and parameter estimates is provided. An export function allows the user to create a CARES material parameter file for subsequent use in a CARES/Life analysis. WeibPar also includes functionality to directly execute CARES projects. In this mode, WeibPar calculates effective volume/area of specimens and confidence bounds on component reliability. The user may also estimate Weibull parameters from nonstandard specimen fracture data.
Connecticut Reserve Technologies (CRT) developed WeibPar with specific upgrades funded by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), and the ARMY Research Laboratory (ARL).
